My daughter is suffering possibly from Taulerimia[ulcero glandular type]. Her symptoms strated two weeks back. First she has high fever, acute generalised lyphadenopathy, pharyngitis. One tiny ulcer near the left groin. On investigation,including the tests for infectious mononeucleosis were normal. She is now cured with Ciprofloxacin & chloramphenicol.Still the inguinal lymph node is mild enlarged.
And if this is true, we have to think about the Biological Wepon has already been applied over India. Because Taulerimia is not seen in India.
As a paediatrician we have to think in all cases with acute generalised lymphadenopathy with high fever +/- tiny ulcer in inguinal region/ elsewhere. And antibiotics are to be choosen properly. This is a serious health problem .
